Abstract:
Comparative analysis of the thermal performance in terms of effectiveness of the induced draft cooling tower has been carried out Lupin pharmaceutical Mandideep Raisen (MP), India. while working under two entirely different working condition, namely the one, where chemical dosing process in employed and the second where this process replaced by the installation of a ClO2 Generator the present study predicts and overall advantage, the second alternative has over the traditional/conventional method of chemical dosing. The proposed replacement results in the improvement of overall thermal effectiveness and annual maintenance cost also is reduced considerably due to greater increased running period of cooling tower between two service shut down.
