Abstract:
The plastic waste are non biodegradable substance and burning these plastic will also prove to be detrimental as it produces harmful gases. The dumping of these waste plastic can lead to the problem of land-filling, incineration and drainage problem. we will use plastic in such a manner that it will become environment friendly and simultaneously the construction cost of the road get reduced by the replacement of bitumen with plastic. One way of utilizing plastic is in road construction. This paper show how use of plastic waste with porous aggregate in road construction. After several water absorption test and aggregate impact value test on porous & non-porous aggregate prove that this method is helpful in solving the discarding problem of plastic waste simultaneously increases the life of a road with low cost.
