The purpose of this research paper is to identify the performance measures for effectiveness of demand chain management (DCM) and to establish relationship among them using interpretive structural modeling (ISM). In this work, the performance measures related to DCM are identified from literature, experts opinion is sought to obtain structural relationship amongst them using ISM. ISM model for performance measures shows that IT implementation, Quality level, Delivery flexibility, and Shipment readiness are independent variables and thus they drive all other measures, hence have top priority in achieving effectiveness. Thus without achievement of IT implementation, quality level, delivery flexibility and shipment readiness all other performance measures cannot be achieved. The presence of linkage variables in the model indicates the existence of feedback relationship between them.
